Acceptance
By using Dotily, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Use of service
Dotily is provided for lawful domain monitoring purposes. You may not use the service to scrape data at scale, abuse scan limits, or violate third-party terms (e.g. WHOIS providers).
Anti-abuse policy
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward abuse of the service — including scraping, circumventing scan or rate limits, and any use that violates the rights of third parties or applicable law. Abuse is investigated promptly, and we take decisive action against violators, up to and including immediate account suspension or termination.
Data sourcing
Dotily retrieves WHOIS data using a range of legal methods and fallback sources, including RDAP and WHOIS protocol queries. Where a referral is required to reach the authoritative source for a domain, we follow and request it in full compliance with the applicable registry, registrar, and WHOIS server rules.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@dotily.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Service disclaimer
We strive to provide the best possible service, but Dotily is not infallible. Failures, delays, and errors can occur for reasons including third-party outages, rate limiting, and changes to registry or WHOIS systems outside our control. Domain and WHOIS data shown in Dotily may at times be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for time-critical decisions. Not every domain extension (TLD) is supported, or fully supported, at this time — we continually work to improve accuracy and expand coverage.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.
Limitation of liability
Dotily is provided "as is". We are not liable for missed domain drops, data loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
